How We Started

The Jompoi Story

Jompoi began its journey in the post-pandemic landscape of 2021. Our founders—Subrata Debnath, Rishin Chakraborty, and Ananthakrishnan Sivaramakrishnan—saw a glaring gap in the market.

While the world was moving toward digital convenience, the traditional supply chain in the North East remained fragmented. Farmers were not getting their fair share, and consumers were paying more for produce that had lost its freshness through multiple intermediaries.

With a registered foundation in West Bengal and our operational heart in Agartala, we set out to build a true "Farmer-to-Consumer" (F2C) model. We started with a small team and a big idea:

"What if your groceries were still in the field when you woke up, and in your kitchen by lunch?"

Today, Jompoi is the realization of that idea.
